The Government allows employers to provide their staff with bikes as a tax-free benefit. Take up has been slow, partly because neither the Treasury nor the Department for Transport have publicised it.  Now, the scheme is receiving a bit of a marketing push, part of which includes the production of a leaflet that explains the benefits of cycling for employers and gives detailed advice on how to set up a cycle purchase scheme.
